These Are Great!
Jack Poet Volkswagen, the Highland Park institution, has long since left L.A. If you go to the address listed (5944 N. Figueroa Street in Los Angeles, off the Avenue 60 exit from the Pasadena Freeway) you will find a Rite Aid Drug Store. Well, you can get nostalgic with a Thrifty ice cream cone!
These are from the times of hard, but fun selling commercials. Firesign Theatre is still in business making people laugh, too. I imagine these commercials sold lots of cars...
